i have a fix for this problem.
we have designed a gps solarjack system that is installed in the solar panel.
it works just like the auto lojack but with solarjack you only pay for service when you need it.
when the solar panel is stolen you activate the tracking service.
one day or 30 days
when the police locate the solar panels you simply shut down the service until you need it again.
